Ladner was first established as a fishing community on the Fraser River. A quaint heritage community, referred to as Ladner Village, is the perfect place to get a glimpse of what Delta looked like during the early years. Ladner Village has several open air cafés, shops, and market that is open on Sundays, every other week during the summer. There are over 140 local vendors with fresh produce, flowers and crafts.
Ladner also has several low rise condo buildings, townhouses and affordable detached homes. Because this neighbourhood is situated so close to Hwy 99, the location is ideal for commuters. Richmond is only a few minutes away, and in light traffic, you can reach downtown Vancouver in less than half an hour.
