Currently, kids living in the Pacific Douglas school district are able to attend Halls Prairie Elementary, Pacific Heights Elementary, South Meridian Elementary, and Peace Arch Elementary. The closest high school is Earl Marriott Secondary which also provides the French immersion program.

For avid golfers, the Peace Portal Golf Course is just a few minutes away. This 4 star course has been ranked on Golf Digest’s list of “Top 100 Public Courses in Canada”. This course is known for having the same beautiful climate as the neighbouring community of White Rock, with more sunshine on average than the rest of British Columbia. The Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club is situated a few kilometers to the east. Hazelmere also has banquet facilities that can accommodate weddings and private parties of up to 180 guests.
